Demonic tongue makes it impossible to cast with their pet on me as well, they have counter spell, deathcoil, yada yada, its impossible. But rogues and warlocks are pretty much the same, warlocks just completely wreck me. This made warriors easier, mages a bit easier too though I still have to dodge counterspell and stuff, and also made hunters a bit easier. I tried out elemental, and it seemed much more viable than enhance because I can damage people without having to connect.

Now all this is for enhancement, but what about ele? I've managed to get some OK elemental gear, getting about 230 spell power and 3.7k hp, 4.5k mana. If they manage to get out of deadzone kite I cannot compete in a melee fight with them so I lose. Warriors are 50/50, if I use all my cooldowns I can win with kiting and going in to melee once they are about half hp. I haven't faced any good other types of classes, but hunters can just freeze trap me after taking out grounding with pet, which is gg for me, druids can outlast me even though I might be able to win if I trinket stun and interupt heal, which then I need to pray they don't have nature's swiftness, thought I can always spam purge. I'm starting to think they are just completely overpowered, really feels like its impossible to win. In fact, they don't even need to fear, they can burst me down in the coil. During the fear they can just burst me 100-0, even though at that point ive taken like 1k damage from dots. Fear totem only goes off every 4 seconds so thats plenty of time to send a pet after it and kill it. They start off by putting dots, garenteed 2k damage even if its over time, then either slow cursing me which is untrinkatable since they can re-apply it again, or if I manage to connect they can coil, take out fear totem and fear me. The biggest problem is warlocks, there is just absolutely no way for me to beat them, even a mediocre one. Rogues can just blind and take out poison totem, even though most rogues I can win pretty easily. This only applies to very good and good geared mages.

Even if I have ice reflector and freedom trinket, they can get a polymorph off through fake casting and taking out totems, or just keep kiting me with frostbolt, and if I use a frost shock its free casts for them for 5 seconds again. It feels like enhancement is really limited, for example mages can just rank 1 frostbolt, come near me to cone of cold + ice nova staying out of auto range, then go 25 yards and free cast. I am a pvp-only player, I can beat t2 rogues and even sometimes beat warlord mages, but only when they aren't the greatest. But it seems like shamans just cannot keep up with good pvp classes like good mages and rogues, and especially warlocks. I have engineering and everything, nades trinkets whatever. I have decent gear, rank 10 armour with unstoppable force. I have a shaman on nostalrius, specifically enhancement shaman but I've tried out both specs.
